The Ex-Residency of Surakarta has considerable tourism potential; however, tourism information remains scattered across multiple platforms, making it difficult for tourists to obtain integrated information. This study aims to develop a tourism Geographic Information System based on Progressive Web Apps (PWA). The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system provides digital maps of tourist destinations, along with information on destinations, events, public transportation, and route navigation. The implementation of PWA enables browser-based installation, faster access through cache mechanisms, and real-time push notifications. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 26 respondents achieved an average score of 87.45%, categorized as Very Good, indicating that the system was well accepted by users. The developed system is expected to provide tourism information that is more effective, integrated, and easily accessible in the Ex-Residency of Surakarta.
