Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) telah banyak membantu manusia dalam memperbaiki kualitas kehidupan, baik kebutuhan pribadi maupun kebutuhannya berhubungan dengan sesama. Oleh karena itu pemanfaatan TIK (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) harus diperkenalkan kepada siswa agar mereka mempunyai bekal pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang memadai untuk bisa menerapkan dan menggunakannya dalam kegiatan belajar, bekerja serta berbagai aspek dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
