Abstract

Internet protokol yang kita gunakan sekarang untuk komunikasi di internet dikenal dengan IPv4. IPv4 ini telah berumur lebih dari 20 tahun. Suksesor dari IPv4 adalah IPv6. IPv6 menawarkan fitur dan fungsionalitas yang lebih dari IPv4 seperti ruang pengalamatan yang jauh lebih besar, fitur keamanan IPSec, penanganan lalu lintas multimedia di internet, dan lain-lain.
