Abstract

Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik wawancara, survey (observasi) dan perancangan sistem. Metode ini digunakan memperoleh data  civitas akademika dan data  akademik yang berhubungan dengan mahasiswa, dimana data tersebut digunakan sebagai acuan untuk membuat perancangan sistem informasi akademik. Perancangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Hierarchy Input Proces Output(HIPO), Diagram Kontek, Data Flow Diagram(DFD), Desain Input dan Output, Desain Database, Relasi Database dan Desain Software dan Hardware.
Tabel yang digunakan dalam database  ini adalah, dosen, mhs, mtkuliah, mttawar, jadwalujian, hnilai, dnilai, hkrs, dan dkrs.
Hasil dari sistem informasi akademik berbasis WAP yang bisa di akses mahasiswa adalah : jadwal ujian, usulan KRS, dan nilai semester dengan hasil keluaran berupa informasi jadwal ujian, nilai semester, dan usulan KRS.
